My student teacher told somebody to cut lemons! She completed her capstone at Spelman College and attributed her success to lil Ole me! She said her year with me was the most life changing experience she's had! Happy tears 😭

Kindergarten put their "Boots on the Ground" with raising iReady reading and math scores, so we had to reward them with a "Boots on the Ground" celebration! Job well done scholars! First grade here they come! 🥳 🎉 🎊

Kindergarten was Captain Planet for the day and we "spelled" out Earth Day (ED) outside 🌎. We took a nature walk to observe what the Earth is comprised of. We learned that we have to take care of our home! @RandolphDolphin

Today was the last day for my student teacher, and she tried to shy away from the camera in order NOT to cry! Lol. She will be missed, but she is off to rejuvenate, renew, restore, and restructure the lives attached to students and their families! ❤️ 😍

Kindergarten students were mommy and daddy ducks "hunting" for their lost ducklings! Every duckling was found and returned safely to their "mommy" and "daddy". 🐣 @RandolphDolphin

Kindergarten Kahoot for the WIN!!! We incorporated Kahoot to review concepts and skills related to our final diagnostic iReady reading and math assessment! The kiddos LOVED it! I believe we're ready for next week's assessment!

Kindergarten Roundup was a complete success! Thankful for the opportunity to spearhead this occasion. The upcoming kindergartners were so excited and are looking forward to the upcoming school year! Onward and upward!

Kindergarten celebrated our shapes unit with a SHAPES BUFFET! If students wanted more, they had to ask for it by the name of the shape. They'll be sure to point out all their 2D and 3D shapes the next time they go to the grocery store! 🍪 🍩🍦

This is truly LOVE on Valentine's Day! One student helping another during writer's workshop with finger spacing! She was so patient and nurturing, assuring the other that she could do the work! A way to a teacher's heart ❤️

What better way to get students involved in their academics than to give them bubble gum! We celebrated National bubble gum day and learned about the history of it! We finished off with a bubble blowing contest! 🍬
