The thread attached to this post is fascinating…so much to process. It’s amazing how empathy is being misunderstood and also taken hostage until it is no longer empathy. I found the bit about WWII especially spot on.

So, a dear friend refuses to get the vaccine. She says she “respects my decision not to be around unvaccinated people” & asks that I respect her decision not to get vaccinated🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m sorry but I can’t respect such a selfish decision that impacts others besides her.

Am I wrong?
