Bevis Marks, the UK’s oldest synagogue, was lit up orange last night in London to mark the end of the shiva, the seven-day mourning period, for Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas.

May their memories be an eternal blessing.

We thank the Hostages and Missing Families Forum UK for this, and their consistent and tireless efforts to advocate on behalf of all those cruelly taken captive by Hamas on October 7th.

Protect Bevis Marks!
A dispute over plans to build a 43-storey office block overshadowing Britain’s oldest synagogue has led the government to step in and say it will consider calls for Angela Rayner to take control of the case.

Three are plans to build an office tower about 25m away from the grade I-listed Bevis Marks synagogue near Aldgate in central London, which has been in continuous use since it was built in 1701.

I believe this application goes against policies that protect accessibility, inclusivity, and cultural heritage.
