Lt Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi on the PKTT members who were arrested:

"A complaint came from Mr Adams, but I invite members to pay very close attention to that case and its outcome. It begins with the bail proceedings, and the judge has already made certain pronouncements. Once that docket has run its course, we can reconvene and determine whether everything was above board. I'll bet my money those members are going to be acquitted."

The remarks were made during the proceedings as Lt Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi shared his views on the ongoing criminal case involving members of the Political Killings Task Team (PKTT).
