@Pixieliss1 I cannot speak on behalf of the organisers, but personally I like it. The day I was there was full of difficult horrific facts, but being discussed by a beautifully diverse range of people. Hope, anger, and direction were in the air. It did have a very positive activist feeling
A drawing from today at #SocialMurder Festival.
What an incredible day! Very honoured to have gone
I've now made it back to Oxford where our daughter is still in hospital.
But we've had great news! Looks like she'll be discharged tomorrow evening!
All round excellent day.
@samcchange@sarasiobhan Total success! She's presently watching football with dad and sis, her nurses are prepping her room, and I'm absently watering garden in the semi gloom! π€£
@CallMeMoNow@LucyGoBag@sarasiobhan I personally loathe the word talent! Sorry. It's thrown around cruelly. I prefer knack. It's more human, less elitist. Also it autocorrects to knackered! I'm also that π€£
@LucyGoBag@sarasiobhan Unfortunately I don't do prints. I tried in the past but it didn't really work out. But also I'm donating all of these particular drawings to the Social Murder Festival team in case they're useful in some way.
Day 2 of the #SocialMurder Festival is a quieter day of discussion with some bereaved families up north. What next, what now? Loving @BexGoneWest artwork from yesterday.
