We also have 3 family focused evening events on Tues, Weds & Thurs, including the Family Fun night (complimentary hot dog included) & SPARK Quiz.

We have SPARKextra for the first time, similar to the afternoons, but aimed at families with older children as well as adults.

SPARK in the Park
This year SPARK will be taking place between the 24th and 28th July from 13:00 and 16:30 and will follow the adventures of the famous sparkaeologist, Obadiah Jones. Each day we'll uncover new artefacts, learn through stories, and have themed craft activities.

Each day will feature a range of free activities for children of all ages including:

Sports

We are back again tomorrow for Day 4 with our usual fun in the afternoons between 1 and 4:30pm, then in the evening we have the 7 - 16 football tournament from 6pm alongside the 'chill zone' in the gazebo, where you can sit and relax and chat or listen to live music

Day 3 seemed to fly by! A little bit of rain didn't stop us having fun at our Hero Time and the children loved the sports and crafts for the theme of the day which was Daniel.
In the evening we had the Spark Family Quiz and everyone got their thinking caps on.

....& just like that, Day 2 of Spark is finished! We had a fun day with all our afternoon activities & the return of our Spark superhero. We had our family fun night in the evening with lots of silly & fun games, hot dogs & the traditional game at the end involving water bombs!

This is not just any quiz..it is the Spark family quiz! We have different rounds, such as answersmash, 'kiddie pool', film, so there is something for all the family! No need to book, just turn up & if you haven't got a team, just turn up anyway & we will find a team for you!

NEW FOR 2022 AT SPARK - Quiet Zone.

If your children find the crowds a little overwhelming, we have a quiet zone where they can enjoy activities away from the main areas. This can be a great space for autistic children. #quietzone

We received a lot of feedback yesterday about the volume, particularly near the under 5s and bouncy castle area, so we have lowered the volume there for today and will continue to monitor it.

We were excited to be back in Danson Park today for the first day of Spark in the Park 2022! We got to meet The Spark, our very own superhero, who will be with us in the park all week.

1pm - 4:30pm activities every afternoon
7pm - 9pm Tuesday : Family fun night with free hot dogs
7pm - 9pm Wednesday: Quiz night
6pm (prompt) - 9pm Thursday: Football tournament for ages 7 - 16
7PM - 9pm Thursday: Chill Zone
