Happy heavenly birthday Soxx. I still can't believe you're gone. It was such an honour and privilege to do life with you. Rest in peace mntasekhaya. 🙏🏾❤️
The DA has no plan to deal with the current immigration crisis. In fact, Cape Town has lots of undocumented migrants who work there. The George accident exposed this a while ago.
‼️ Just today South Africans witnessed our police being attacked by 8,000 ILLEGAL Malawians who are demanding a free ticket home. 👇👇👇
Just last week, our headlines were dominated by demands from various groupings of foreigners from Nigeria, Ghana and Zimbabwe to be repatriated. Most were ILLEGAL.
Officially, every THIRD employable South African is without a job. That means only 2 of 3 South African adults have income. The worst affected are youth, with 60% of them unemployed, and the majority of 24 year olds are not receiving any tertiary education (https://t.co/zg5NeHJztm)
Meanwhile, South Africa’s farming, construction & hospitality sectors are known to employ predominantly ILLEGAL immigrants, with claims that South Africans do not display these “scarce skills”. (https://t.co/izpoyZS1Sr?)
This is not just a political narrative being pushed by a few. This is about survival for the majority, in their own country.
Trevor Noah sums up our current situation best: https://t.co/mMfxaMAwk3
South Africans are not xenophobic. South Africans are fighting for their futures at home. The rule of law must apply to ALL. #JobsMatter
I hate it sooooooooo much when people say “unemali ne” cause
1. It never comes from a good place
2. Anginayo, im just a reckless spender and being broke has never killed me so God forbid i like having a good time.
So i just say “yes, nginayo” and dead the chat.
As a Congolese, you really don’t want to play the “Imagination” game. Imagine where the DRC would be today if its vast natural resources had been managed like those of the UAE. The country could have been one of Africa’s economic success stories and maybe you wouldn’t have had to leave and be a refugee in the UK. That’s a much bigger “what if” than who qualified for a World Cup.
