The “Faqqoua Iris (Iris Haynei)” blooms only a few weeks each spring in northern Palestine. Once near extinction, it now thrives as a protected symbol of heritage and resilience. Our “Violet Resistance” shirts celebrate a flower and a land that refuse to be forgotten.

I’ve been awarded the 2025 James Beard Broadcast Media Emerging Voice Award, one of the most meaningful recognitions in the food world @beardfoundation
This means so much to me. It’s more than an award. It’s a reminder that even from under siege, our voices can reach the world
I couldn’t attend the ceremony. Gaza was in a full blackout. No internet, no way to connect, no way to watch. But still, this moment reached me, and I carry it with deep gratitude
