Excited to speak at this event next Wednesday, Feb 1st hosted by Los Angeles’s Department of Mental Health & Project Griot: LA with some of my personal favs 😁 #LiftEachVoice
The sinister nature of Ed Buck’s violence against these black men pushes me to a place beyond language. Prison abolition is the future I want for all of us, but also, I want this man forever removed from his ability to hurt people. And I want the folks who enabled him exposed.
Yesterday we teamed up to host a screening & panel discussion around the documentary #BeyondEdBuck.
Shout out to our attendees & to our amazing volunteers who worked hard to make our outreach possible.

The film @BeyondEdBuck expands the convo of how Black trans & Black gay-identified men fall prey to the sexual fetishes & baiting of #CrystalMeth throughout history. This was an eye-opening call to action for the work that still needs to be done to uplift & educate our community!
During the Chicago Premieres of #BeyondEdBuck,we received word we took home THREE wins for “Beyond Ed Buck” in the LGBTQ and Social Justice categories bringing us to a total of FIVE awards. Thank you for the continued support! Watch #BeyondEdBuck on AMC’s ALLBLK. #Socialjustice
