Uniabuja sun is not a joke ooo.
It will make you start questioning why you chose the school 🤦🏽♀️
One hot day, after a series of tiring lectures, the only thing on my mind was something cold. So I headed to a shop in my faculty and bought this cold 200 Naira kunu.
I wasted my extra 200 Naira on the second bottle of kunu that wasn't needed. Don't let cravings trick you into overindulgence especially as a student in this economy 🤧

Next time you're about to buy that cold soda, wait for 10- 15 minutes (that's how long it takes a dopamine strike to die down), then drink a glass of chilled water or if you're craving a particular snack, ask yourself if you're hungry or if you're about to waste your money.
Salad is supposed to be healthy & nourishing but when the cream becomes the main ingredient, the vegetables are just decorations.
You don't have to stop eating it. Just use less cream or no cream at all😌
Just 1 tablespoon of mayo contains 90-100cals and sometimes we add 3-4 spoons in our salads, that's 300-400calories.
At this point, your "salad" is closer to being a sugary drink than plain vegetables. You're not eating healthy, you're sipping oil in disguise!
@p_fiks777 If your organs aren't functioning well enough to "detox" you, a tea won't fix them. Detox teas contain laxatives & diuretics which can add more damage to the failing organs.
If your body's natural filtration system is failing, GO TO THE HOSPITAL & SEEK MEDICAL HELP!
Detox teas are everywhere. Promising to "cleanse your body", flatten your stomach & help you lose weight.
Let's talk about what detox tea is actually doing to your body.
A thread 🧵
Do you peel potatoes before boiling?
Here's what you don't know:
Potato skin contains dietary fiber, potassium, Iron & antioxidants.
Peeling your potatoes before cooking allows some nutrients to be lost or dissolved when boiled.
@p_fiks777 Not all, as far as I know, only potato & sweet potato skin are edible. And even when this skin contains green patches or sprouts, it should not be consumed because it contains a natural toxin, which is the case for most tubers.
Cassava peel for example contains some cyanide....
The real detoxing comes from drinking enough water, eating fibers ( fruits and vegetables), reducing ultra-processed foods and letting your liver and kidney do their job.
Perfect health is not in a teabag!
