🚨 One of Africa's most respected match officials is heading to Rwanda.

CAF Referee of the Year Omar Artan has been appointed to officiate the CECAFA Kagame Cup final on August 7, adding even more prestige to this year's showpiece event.

The final will also be an important step in his preparations before taking charge of another massive fixture just a few days later—the UEFA Super Cup final on August 12. Officiating two major finals within the same week is a testament to the confidence both CAF and UEFA have in his abilities, consistency, and professionalism.

Football fans in Rwanda will have the opportunity to watch one of the continent's finest referees in action before he heads to the European stage for another high-profile encounter.
