@owndeceiver@holdyourhurt This one is WAYYYY better than the one they posted.. I could tell you know more about vocals than the person who posted the original.
Artists who can dance often uses that head microphones to sing while performing so it’ll be easy for them dance and sing at the same time but, Beyoncé on the other hand always has her mic in her hand which makes it harder doing both at the same time and which she nails effortlessly. She’s the 🐐 and y’all will put some respect on her name!
Underrated as a vocalist.
Someone with comparable prowess to singers like Whitney and Mariah and Céline should not be so regularly compared to singers like Adele and Christina Aguilera and yet she is.
people need to wrap up these “vocalist of the decade” conversations for the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s. no one has come close to her when it come to skill, range, live performance and technique. she’s the vocalist of the CENTURY
She’s the GOAT and people don’t want to admit that because she’s a black woman, none of her albums sound the same because she grows and elevates her art with every album alot of y’all’s favs can’t say the same🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Cultural currency will always merit more...
From Self-Titled, Beyoncé’s work has evolved from pop culture discussion into actual university curriculum. Courses across Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Rutgers, UPenn, UT Austin, Howard, Spelman, and more have used her work to teach🧵
I don’t like how she no longer promotes. All these hard work deserves to be seen and heard. Renaissance had all the ingredients to be her most commercially successful album since Sasha fierce but see how she treated it.
Kehlani fires back at people who undermine Beyoncé's vocals saying she's the greatest vocalist of all time— that she's maintained her vocals for 3 decades:
"... I'm going to say Beyonce, people love being contrarians and playing with her and... doing this thing like she's not in the conversation of like the greatest vocalist. That woman can sing like Arabic scales and Indian scales and like freaky like she's just doing she's making vocal choices and always had like you she's one of those people you can't go back.I know for a fact when I turned in my 30s I mean already now I'm listening to my stuff when I'm 19 and.... I'm like oh my god like I wish I took more care of my voice. I wish it sounded like I care this much from the beginning. Beyonce sound like from the first song she ever recorded rolling like she was locked in like she was in there in the studio like and I'm gonna recut this 82 times and I'm gonna make sure this is perfect and I'm gonna be in there performing... so it sounds like I mean it like it just sounds like from the beginning of time she's been very dead serious locked in locked and it's only grown and it seems like she wants to try everything there is to try and I love that yes give me a country album right yes give me r&b album give me a dance album give me the rock album. I don't care at this point it's inspiring because I expect it to be fantastic you know it's going to be yeah you know what type of level at this point we just like can't even have the contrarian conversations like I'm not understanding the contrarian right opinions of it's not that great it's not there is quite literally no possibility for it to be any better be yeah exactly yeah yeah it's only great and greater like goodness and she could do a acapella no music noeffects no mic no nothing and sound the exact same."
