Keep posting this so people don’t forget how truly bad this event was.
Don’t let people gaslight you into thinking it was peaceful and worthy of 1500+ pardons and slush fund payoffs.
Remember: it was like pulling teeth to get Republicans to fund the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund.
But it took them no time at all to create a $1.8 billion Insurrection Slush Fund to pay off the legal fees of the January 6th rioters who beat cops.
These are sick, corrupt people.
@jrcabral@KalshiSports Plus everyone was expecting Ortiz to hit that grand slam. Whereas Victorino was not hitting anything in the playoffs that year so this was a true HOLY SH&/ moment
@jrcabral@KalshiSports This is my go-to because I was probably the only Boston sports fan that was not watching the Ortiz grand slam game or the Patriots game earlier that day with the comeback against the Saints. It was the day after my wedding.
@jrcabral@xwanyex Yes easily the best team the Sox faced all year in my opinion. I was also terrified they’d spent all their energy in the championship series. But St Louis had fought a hard seven game series as well.
Sincere question: do Trump supporters who genuinely want to reduce political violence actually think that lobbing transparently hypocritical accusations about the left's rhetoric is in any way effective?
Are we really gonna go through another cycle where MAGA folks point out incendiary rhetoric on the left without ever acknowledging that some of the most violent and incendiary rhetoric in America comes from the President and his supporters? Do you not think the rest of the country has eyes and ears?
It's truly awful that President Trump has been the target of political violence. It's also truly awful how he's frequently talked about his political opponents: accusing them of treason, amplifying calls for their execution, publicly celebrating their death, calling them scum, garbage, vermin, animals. It was like 3 weeks ago that he threatened the annihilation of an entire civilization! It was just a few months ago that he and his White House knowingly smeared two Americans who'd been killed by federal agents as domestic terrorists!
I hate political violence. I hate what happened last night. Probably 99% of Americans agree. But let's not insult everyone's intelligence by pretending that the most powerful person in the world isn't a huge part of the problem here.
Imagine performing the way that Trevor Story has over the course of this contract and blaming someone else for the coaches getting fired. He's not wrong, but maybe let somebody else be the messenger here, bro. 37 strikeouts in 111 ABs this season.
According to @ChrisCotillo, Trevor Story is not happy with the firings that took place yesterday.
Story wants to clear the air with Breslow today. Says “some of the best coaches in the world didn’t get a fair shot.”
What an absolute mess. This is the leader of your team.
I hated Lucchino but at least he made no bones about the fact that he was a snake. Kennedy is the guy who walks you down the street with his arm around you and a big smile on his face and it turns out he's stabbing you in the back the entire time.
The Red Sox fired Alex Cora.
Inside the team, some describe the culture as “toxic positivity"
When I asked Sam Kennedy about that, he said:
“If the accusation is that I’m… overly positive, guilty as charged.”

The Red Sox blew all their ABS challenges early against the always horrible CB Bucknor and now he’s running amok like Jason Voorhees. I like ABS it’s a brand-new way to get aggravated during a baseball game.
