Meet the Team Monday | Nick Willis
Nick loves that MMQBC turns football into impact. From his office, he watches QB1, the critical care helicopter funded by the club, land at Children's of Alabama. It's a constant reminder that our work supports life-saving care when it matters.
Meet the Team Monday | John Smyth
When asked about memorable MMQBC moments, John laughs, recalling Lane Kiffin entertaining the crowd and the legendary Barkley & Bruce Pearl duo onstage. We're grateful for John's leadership, humor, and heart for our mission. Happy Birthday!
Meet the Team Monday | Scott Myers
While Scott's interest in the MMQBC started with the opportunity to hear from coaches & speakers, his "why" shifted over the years as he witnessed the club's impact. That deeper understanding turned interest into pride in the work being done.
Today is National Children's Mental Health Awareness Day. We are proud to highlight the vital work of our partners at Prescott House, Trinity Counseling, King's Home, & Oasis Counseling, whose dedication to mental health ensures every child has the foundation they need to thrive.
Meet the Team Monday | Tommy Sisson
For anyone considering joining MMQBC, Tommy's message is simple: get involved. He believes this club can shift your perspective and create a meaningful impact. We're grateful for Tommy's heart and the perspective he brings to this work.
Meet the Team Monday | Wesley Willings
Wesley believes MMQBC stands apart because of its motto: "Football brings us together, fundraising sets us apart." There is a real sense of ownership here. Every member understands that the mission's success depends on all of us.
No championship team succeeds alone. The Monday Morning Quarterback Club is built on collective effort. Members. Volunteers. Partners. Donors. Together, you've helped raise millions to advance children's health.
That's what teamwork looks like.
Meet the Team Monday | Pat Henry
When asked what being part of this club means to him, Pat points to the organization's incredible history. A group built on fellowship, yes, but always laser-focused on one mission, supporting children’s health across central Alabama. together.
Last month, MMQBC members toured the new 50-bed Pediatric ICU at Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children at @ChildrensAL. We’re proud to have provided financial aid to help make this project possible and support COA’s mission of delivering exceptional pediatric care.
Today is National Rare Disease Day. More than 300 million people worldwide — including 1 in 10 Americans — live with a rare disease. Libby’s Friends helps ease the financial burden of disability, and MMQBC is grateful to partner with such a selfless organization.
