A country where people from different religions can openly preserve and defend their religious identity, but some Hindus are taught to reject or hide their own Hindu identity just to look secular — what kind of secularism is that?

It’s like saying:

I don’t like my own father, but I love someone else’s father.

And being secular only when it means ignoring your own religion is like a classroom where everyone is using their notes to copy, while you proudly throw yours away and say:

Look how fair I am.

Respecting other religions is fine.

But being ashamed of your own is not secularism.

It’s self-erasure.
