ದ್ರಾವಿಡ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ತುಳುವನ್ನು 8ನೇ ಪರಿಚ್ಛೇದದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಲು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಬೆಂಬಲವಿದೆ.

18 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಭಾಷಿಕರಿರುವ ತುಳುವಿಗೆ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಿದೆ, ತುಳುವಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಭಾಷಾ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ನೀಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಆ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲಕರವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

#Tuḷu language is more than 2500 years old, the culture of #Tuḷunāḍụ is an integral part of Sanatan Dharma. UNESCO has declared Tuḷu as one of the endangered languages, to save such an ancient language, it should be given constitutional recognition.

Meitei langauge has 1.76 million native speakers and Tulu has over 3 million speakers as per 2011 census. Guess what, Meitei is included in the 8th schedule and Tulu isn't. 👏

We respect each &every language but we love our mother tongue there some people abusing language but we can't take any action because our language is not in 8th schedule. It time to rise voice. Neither our culture should die nor our language #TuluTo8thSchedule

Having said that, we dont include languages into 8th schedule and promote them, even though people demand peacefully for 50 years. #Tulu is one such endangered languages and our demands are pushed into dustbin. We dont trust words anymore sir! @nalinkateel #TuluTo8thSchedule

there was a tuluva even in Dr Ambedkars team forming constitution of India ...it is unfortunate that there is no place for tulu in Indian constitution

Tulu, a Proto-Dravidian language older than other languages with over 3 million speakers and recognized as one of the most developed Dravidian languages in 1856 by Robert Caldwell. Yet, hasn’t made it to the official language? It’s high time it’s recognized.

ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ರಾಮಾಯಣ, ವೇದಭಾಗ, ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯ ಅಮರ, ಭರ್ತೃಹರಿ ಶಕತ್ರಯ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥಗಳು ತುಳು ಲಿಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ದೇವಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ದೈವಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದದ್ದು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತುಳು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾಷೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತುಳು ಭಾಷೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೇನೋ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ತಾಲೂಕು ತಾಲೂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ ನಡೆಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಬಳಿ ಹಣವಿದೆ, ಅದೇ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಭಾಷೆ ತುಳುವಿನ ಯೂನಿಕೋಡ್ ತಂತ್ರಾಂಶ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಅನುದಾನ ನೀಡಲು ಹಣವಿಲ್ಲ.
