MISSING MISSING LINK | ₹6,700 crore spent on a 13.3 km road + viaduct + tunnel project, according to @nitin_gadkari.

That is ₹504 crore per kilometre.

It was proudly called the “Missing Link.”

One rain later, it has become the “Missing Missing Link.”

💰 💰 ₹9,279 crore in Toll Collection on Mumbai-Pune Expressway and still counting…

💰 MSRDC’s Toll Collection on Mumbai Pune Expressway started in 2000 🛣️

1) From 2000-2003 - ₹107 crore against expected amount of ₹355 crore.

Toll Collection Contractor - IRB Group 💰

2) From 2004-2019 - ₹910 crore upfront in 2004. As per CAG Report 2004-05, MSRDC should have collected a minimum of ₹2,236 crore.

Toll Collection Contractor - IRB Group (IRB is stated to have collected ₹9,929 crore during 2004-2019). 💰

3) For Contract period 2020 to 2030, MSRDC has collected ₹8,262 crore.

Toll Collection Contractor - IRB Group. 💰

Total Earnings of MSRDC from the above three instalments - ₹9,279 crore. 💰 💰 💰

❓What did the passengers get in return❓

⚠️ Landslides, Life threatening boulders, Uncertainties‼️

🤔 Who had asked the ‘Missing Link’❓

😊 Without ‘Missing Link’ they had no scope to extend the Toll Collection contract by another ten years.

😊 Without ‘Missing Link’ they had no source to Finance ‘Samruddhi Mahamarg’❗️

💰 💰 The IRB Group also collects Toll on Mumbai Entry Points (the contract for which was prematurely terminated on the face of 2024 General elections in Maharashtra and compensation paid to IRB Group) and Bandra-Worli Sea Link.

😡 The Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) is the new muse in the hands of the Indian Politicians, the most lot on Earth. All they can do is destroy nature by building UNNECESSARY TUNNELS, levy tolls and mint money.

😰 God forbid, this landslide happened at the night. Imagine if it had happened in daytime with the regular traffic 😡

Remember, Eknath Shinde has controlled MSRDC since 2014. In the MSRDC, lies the secret of Shiv Sena split and Maharashtra’s plunder in the name of Toll. Someday, we would all know. I had written about it previously.
