@marinebharat According to @nitin_gadkari , normal service and road test can't establish even mileage. They need dynamometer testing.
Now how come service center gives the root cause data? They don't give because they just service/replace parts. Won't do lab-style testing.
@Sanju_Verma_ All are telling half truths due to your force. Their user manuals tell the truth. Some models are compliant for BS6+ E20. Some are not.
You are misleading by forcing clever wording in their mouth
@ShivrattanDhil1 For European OEMs, we have test plans having several million KMs, covering so many conditions.
For a country-wide test for such roll out, it should have been much higher.
And storage tests under different conditions.
@VishhalSJain@nitin_gadkari Does it have different road profiles also ? Different mu, periodic braking patterns ? or like highway driving we use for active safety ABS/ESP testing ?
@Malay4Product Misinfo repackaged.
-Crime to adulterate fuel without telling. That too, non-compliant machine
- 20%+ drop is real, at least for E10/BS4 vehicles.
-Automakers are telling half truths. Words don;t match their own 'vehicle manuals'
-E20 physics+chemistry, storage issues are real.
@Ritesh_Sinha27@NalinisKitchen@nitin_gadkari As engineer, I hope for engineering talent & judgement in engg related ministries irrespective of party in power.
World says now- China is run by engineers.
I wish right expertise is brought in for all roles. Only then India can progress irrespective of party in power.
@Ritesh_Sinha27@NalinisKitchen Worst : revelation that they had been mixing at will without telling consumers. No one knows exact % now.
Irrespective of damage/mileage-this is enough to avoid. If possible wait till arrogant @nitin_gadkari goes.
As auto engineer with safety engg exp, for me, it is hard to watch
@amitabhk87 I work with few MSMEs. They are great, experts in their area & doing good business. But, are too used to see 'physical things' while they spend money. For software investment they expect unviable price. Easy to promise. But right quality needs right expertise which needs budget.
@JiteshA97348064@Baliyan_x Ford Eco sport 2021 has BS6 model. BS6 model is likely to be material compliant for E20. I don't talk about mileage. At least it is not likely to damage.
So you should keep quiet and let BS3, BS4 owners talk to govt.
@HPCL In retail pump - you neither have proper container nor periodic checks - due to 'hushed rushed rollout'.
It can phase separate , water can reach engine, ruin engines including flex engine.
@HPCL Ok. Then why aren't you protesting the rushed implementation bypassing processes ?
Engineering projects need to be executed properly, publishing results & taking all into confidence.
@kkstau In between he added a lie. Insurance has no problem with Ethanol. Fact: Insurance won't cover wear & tear. Covers only accident. So insurance doesn't care abt E20 is half truth.

@MaheshJ95622388 This is why I am still not sure. XP100 also may be adulterated by @nitin_gadkari .
If govt issues clear statement that XP100 doesn't have ethanol, it is good assurance. I guess their statement says otherwise.
https://t.co/8Jy7lst0G4
@Seeking25103540@amitkilhor It indeed takes 1000s of litre. Math comes from 'carbon credits and carbon accounting systems'. This had been the original use case for ethanol mixing.
Study about carbon credits. Audit involves entire supply chain, everything single thing in its life cycle.
@MaheshJ95622388 If it is indeed 0 ethanol, it needs my needs. I am still not sure since petrol pumps say everything is at least 20%. Nobody can trust what govt says now.
Don't call XP100 as E0. They are not the same. Interesting to hear how people react if Gadkari-Puri say E0 is 167/Litre now.
@vijayiyengar harness engineering is unnecessary jargon. Software engineering landscape already has enough standardized patterns and names for everything being talked about now.
@pallavict@nitin_gadkari@narendramodi High time India comes out of hero worship mode. Deityfication and not questioning, not demanding answers have ruined India.
Upanishath is Q&A. Most of Indian traditions celebrate questioning.
Good engineering is built on critical thinking, not 'trust me bro'
