I am appalled beyond words. @MehboobaMufti unabashedly and casually brands every Kashmiri protestor a "Militant". The kids, the little girls... just everyone was a militant, she says. She goes on to justify the brutal use of force against Kashmiris.
And then she goes on her classic act of shedding tears for their release from detention. Even shame must be ashamed today.
Her hypocricy is uglier than what I beleived.
VIDEO | Delhi: Addressing a press conference on the students' protest, Union Minister JP Nadda says, βIf we look at the instances of paper leaks, there was a leak in the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board examination when the Congress and National Conference were in power. Similarly, there was a paper leak in the Himachal Pradesh School Examination Board when the Congress was in power. In Jharkhand, Hindi and Science papers of the JAC examination were leaked when the Congress-Jharkhand Mukti Morcha government was in office. In Telangana, language papers of the Intermediate examination were leaked when the Congress, with CPI support, was in power. There was also a paper leak in the SSC language examination in Telangana under the same government... The list is much longer, and we can discuss it in detail when the debate takes place. But I want to ask the Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, why are you being selective? Why are you so selective?β
In my intervention in the J&K Legislative Assembly, I spoke about how we were prevented from paying our tribute to the great martyrs of 13th July and today is no different.
No restrictions can erase history, and no barriers can diminish their sacrifice. They shall always remain in our hearts, and we will never forget those who laid down their lives for the rights and dignity of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

Miss @MehboobaMufti Ji, the people of J&K have not forgotten the events of 5 August 2019. Instead of deflecting attention, answer the questions surrounding the J&K Bank and Khadi recruitment controversies. The people are aware, and they deserve accountability.

CM Abdullah: It is a false narrative to suggest that every young Kashmiri boy is a jihadi. Nothing could be further from the truth. That impression is something a few people in the country wish to propagate.
As part of a delegation, we met the Honβble Chief Minister (@CM_JnK ) @OmarAbdullah on the first day of the Darbar Move. We thanked him for the move, as it significantly also benefits Srinagar city.

Shocked by the firing incident in Jammu today. Relieved to hear that Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sahab is safe. Wishing my colleague, Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary Ji, a very speedy recovery from his injuries.
Such incidents are deeply disturbing.

In the Youth Parliament, a young voice shook the hall, speaking fearlessly for Kashmiris, exposing the injustices and atrocities theyβve endured since 2019. The truth has power, and today it spoke through him.
