While we are all busy grappling with the covid 19 pandemic we also need not forget that HIV still has no cure and is most likely still being spread #StayWoke

We can not downplay the importance of raising awareness about HIV/AIDS, it is incumbent upon young females to change the narrative. Change the story. They need to be young warriors against social ills like HIV/AIDS, gender based violence and sexual discrimination.

Poverty, the low status of woman, gender based violence have been cited as reasons for this disparity in HIV prevalence. Intergenerational relationships between older Men and young women are seen to be driving cycle of infections.
