It's ironic that faith and fear are both things we can't see, but we are supposed to believe in them. The good thing is that we have a choice, since faith and fear can't exist together.
Ezekiel 11:19 AMP
[19] And I will give them one heart [a new heart], and put a new spirit within them. I will take from them the heart of stone, and will give them a heart of flesh [that is responsive to My touch]
I testify to the power of being grateful. Being grateful at all times, even for small things, does not mean that your circumstances will be minimized, but it guarantees hope and confidence that this too shall pass.
Do you know why it is possible for us to get up in the morning? Why are we able to go to work, serve our family, or love the people around us even when we're tired, empty, and broken?
It is because of the grace and only the grace of God that we make all this possible.
Now I understand why we have to experience shaking. There's this thing we called necessary shaking. It is necessary because it helps us to shake off our pride, our fear, our disbelief, and even the familiarity we have with God.
I have realized that the starting point of God's move in our lives or situations is when we finally surrender. When we decide to raise our hands and let God do His will, that's the point when we see what is beyond our skills, our knowledge, or our expectations.
It is true that God loves broken people. He is good at making things new. He knows how to restore the time and the things we've lost. Because God is a God who doesn't waste pain. He will use sorrow, grief, and disappointment to reveal himself to us.
While grace is at the top of our strength, helping people to move forward and enabling people to stand up in the morning, the glory then is at ground level. God meets his people who are worn out, wounded, & discouraged He is so hands-on in maturing us and revealing himself to us
I saw myself seated at Jesus' feet during worship yesterday.I felt His presence embrace me as he cleared my thoughts. I became aware of my own weakness in His absence & came to the conclusion that although I desire more time with Him,God desires even more time with me.
