• Fines will be imposed for throwing waste on roads

• Spitting in public places will also attract a fine

• Urinating in public spaces will attract penalties

• Dustbins will be placed at various locations across the city

• Where dustbins are not yet available, citizens will be asked to keep waste with them or in packets

• The message is clear: do not throw waste on the road

• The responsibility extends to keeping both Kolkata and West Bengal clean
