Octavian the impostor had placed guards around Cleopatra so she couldn’t take her own life, because he knew her spirit all too well! Octavian, that shameless one, intended to take Cleopatra to Rome as a symbol of victory, to bind her to a chariot in the arena and humiliate her!

But when you come from the lineage of kings and greats, no rootless impostor can strip away what’s woven into your blood! Cleopatra the Seventh had come into this world for grandeur, splendor, and majesty, and even the manner of her death added to that majesty!

Cleopatra’s handmaidens hid a snake in a fruit basket so she could take her own life! With her death, she dealt Octavian a crushing defeat in full public view! She took the symbol of victory from Octavian, and he returned to Rome empty-handed, continuing his impostor’s rule empty-handed until the day he died! Octavian left behind a lineage that counted killing and bloodshed in the Colosseum as their amusement and entertainment, and elevated slavery and oppression to their peak! The one who had Julius Caesar and Mark Antony firmly condemned in public for the crime of dictatorship and threatening the Roman Republic was himself nurturing the roots of power madness and imperial ambition in his mind! A scheming charlatan hidden beneath the guise of supporting the Republic and freedom!

@AncientHistorry بینی و لبهاش شبیه به فرعون توتموس سوم هست تقریبا ولی چشمها و ابروهاش به ملکه حتشپسوت هست کمی تشخیصش سخت میشه، بنظرم ملکه حتشپسوت باشه!!!

@AncientHistorry صورت حتشپسوت حتی در زیر پوشش مخصوص سَر فراعنه ظرافت خودش رو داره، و کاملا مشخصه که چهره یک زن هست!

@AncientHistorry این سر ملکه حتشپسوت هست، در لباس فرعون با ریش مصنوعی و تاج مردانه مخصوص فراعنه و همچنین دامنی که دُم شیر نر به پشت دامن وصل هست، لباس رسمی فرعون! حتشپسوت ناچارا در مراسم رسمی در این لباس مردانه مخصوص فراعنه ظاهر میشد، چون عموم مردم به سختی یک فرعون زن رو قبول میکرند!
