@drsmadden A7: As outsiders, they have more inclusive mental preparation because they need to understand people with different backgrounds, and they will be more careful about their words. The disadvantage is obvious, sometimes participants are reluctant to share their truest thoughts.
@drsmadden A6: With similar identification, they can quickly build trust and enter in-depth communication. But at the same time, they should avoid the same biases as the similar group. #MaddensMethods
@drsmadden A5: I think we could make time for post-Interview reflection, like designing a review form with a few open-ended questions to collect things that didn't function or should be added. #MaddensMethods
@drsmadden A4: Firstly, we should face our biases and self-reflection on why they exist. And having our participants look over our results and findings is a good way to avoid bias. Like, inquire if our interpretations appear to be representative of the participants. #MaddensMethods
@drsmadden A3: I think we could ensuring the proportion of minorities participants at the beginning and respecting every participant in the interview and research. Also, we could reduce our subjectivity. #MaddensMethods
@drsmadden A2: I believe that diversity and inclusion of qualitative research help ensure that the results will have an impact on the people the study is intended to help. #MaddensMethods
@drsmadden For me, diversity and inclusion are about respecting and understanding everyone in the organization, even if they differ from me in some ways, and providing equal platforms and opportunities.
I really like the photo of the background on your homepage. The colorful houses are very attractive. The slider that makes it easier to browse through your work. And you marked the name and location of each building below the photo, which gave me a lot of help.
It's a pretty cool and creative portfolio!! I saw a variety of interesting combinations in your works, such as the statue with a bubble gum, the laser-like water column. All of your works are very well edited, and they all show the theme very well.
The skyline with the fire is my favorite one. It perfectly combines the nearby flames, the darkened blue sky behind it and the sunset in the background. I feel warmth and hope in this photo.
