Bible education doesn’t make us mighty. It makes us knowledgeable. That’s a great thing but it’s not spiritual might. Spiritual muscle is built when the weight of that sword of the Spirit is repeatedly raised with the shield of faith & actively wielded against powers of darkness.
It's time to come to terms with this very real fact of life: Not everyone will like you.
We need to stop putting this pressure on ourselves to achieve this ridiculous and impossible standard.
There will be days
where it feels like
everything is changing,
and there will be days
where it all feels the same,
but there will never be a day
that Light will not find you
and remind you it’s okay
to learn as you go,
in the most beautifully, honest way.
And now, after everything, I know this: there is a reason I am here and that reason is bigger than me. So I will carry on with great faith beyond what I can see, and purpose with bold courage in every adventure of this journey.
“There will always be someone willing to hurt you, put you down, talk behind your back and judge you...However, if you realize that God is a best friend that stands with you when others cast stones, you will never be afraid or feel worthless” #truth
