ตลอดช่วงหลายปีที่ผ่านมาที่เราเริ่มทำงานการเมืองในสมัยพรรคอนาคตใหม่ มาจนถึงพรรคก้าวไกลที่ผมเป็นหัวหน้าพรรค จนถึงการเลือกตั้ง 14 พฤษภาคม 2566 พวกเราทำงานอย่างหนัก เดินหน้าเคาะทุกประตูบ้าน คุยกับทุกคน เดินทางไปทั่วประเทศ ขึ้นเวทีประชันวิสัยทัศน์ ออกสัมภาษณ์สื่อ ออกแบบนโยบาย

การทำงานหนักของพวกเรา และความ “ชัดเจน จริงใจ ตรงไปตรงมา” ทำให้พรรคก้าวไกลได้รับความไว้วางใจจากประชาชนมากที่สุดถึง 14 ล้านเสียง เป็นพรรคที่มีจำนวนผู้แทนราษฎรเป็นอันดับหนึ่งในสภาผู้แทนราษฎร

แต่ก้าวไกลก็ไม่มีใคร…นอกจากประชาชน

ตลอด 3 เดือนที่ผ่านมา ทุกองคาพยพทางการเมืองพร้อมใจกันปิดสวิตช์ก้าวไกล จนได้รัฐบาลผสมพันธุ์ข้ามขั้ว ขัดความรู้สึกพี่น้องประชาชน

เมื่อติดกระดุมเม็ดแรกผิด ก็ไม่มีวันที่รัฐบาลผสมพันธุ์ข้ามขั้วนี้จะสามารถสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลงในสังคมได้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการทำให้ประชาชนอยู่ดีกินดี หรือมีเกียรติมีศักดิ์ศรีใดๆ ได้

ท่ามกลางความสิ้นหวัง ความเสื่อมศ��ัทธาของประชาชนต่อการเมืองการปกครองที่เป็นอยู่

ก้าวไกลภายใต้การนำของผม พิธา ลิ้มเจริญรัตน์ จะเป็นตัวแทนพลังใหม่
เป็นความหวัง เป็นที่หนึ่งในดวงใจของพี่น้องประชาชน ด้วยการทำงานทันสมัย มีประสิทธิภาพ ทั้งตรวจสอบการทำงานของผู้มีอำนาจ และทั้งเสนอแนะทาง��อกของประเทศในประเด็นต่างๆ รวมทั้งการผลักดันกฎหมายที่ก้าวหน้า อภิปรายวาระที่สร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงในสังคมไทย

เราจะเป็นสถาบันการเมืองที่พี่น้องประชาชนฝากความไว้วางใจเอาไว้ได้ ว่าเราจะทำงานอย่างเต็มที่เพื่อผลประโยชน์สูงสุดของพี่น้องประชาชน และจะไม่มีวันทรยศหักหลังต่อความไว้วางใจที่พี่น้องให้มาอย่างแน่นอน

การทำงานการเมืองแบบก้าวไกล ไม่ใช่การเมืองวิ��ศษวิโสอะไร เราแค่อยากทำให้ความจริงใจ ตรงไปตรงมา รักษาคำพูด เป็นเรื่องปกติในการเมืองไทย

ตั้งแต่วันนี้เป็นต้นไป ขอเชิญเพื่อนพี่น้องทุกคน ร่วมเดินทางไกลอีกครั้งกับพรรคก้าวไกล ช่วยกันรณรงค์ ช่วยกันทำงาน ช่วยกันสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลง
