گروهی از عکاسان افغان، یک مجله عکس زیر نام «ببین» راه‌اندازی کرده‌اند.

محب علی، مدیر مسئول «ببین» می‌گوید که هدف از راه‌اندازی این مجله، آموزش و ترویج شاخه‌های هنری و معاصر عکاسی و ایجاد فضایی برای گفت‌وگو میان عکاسان، نویسندگان و منتقدان است.

مجله ببین تاکنون دو شماره به زبان‌های فارسی و انگلیسی منتشر شده و شماره سوم آن نیز به‌زودی منتشر خواهد شد.

این مجله، برای هر شماره‌اش یک نویسنده مهمان انتخاب می‌کند که او خوانشی بر عکس‌ها می‌نویسد.

محب علی می‌گوید که هرچند رویکرد مجله ببین بین‌المللی است، اما مخاطب اصلی آن عکاسان افغانستان‌اند.

آقای محب علی گفت که مجله بر ژانرهای معاصر عکاسی تمرکز دارد. ژانرهایی که به گفته او در فضای عکاسی افغانستان کمتر شناخته شده و تجربه شده‌اند.

نسخه‌ی انگلیسی این مجله در نخستین ماه همین سال منتشر شد، اما از آنجا که محتوای اصلی مجله به زبان فارسی تولید می‌شود، تصمیم گرفتیم نسخه‌ی فارسی را نیز در اختیار مخاطبان خود قرار دهیم. امیدواریم که این نسخه بتواند تجربه‌ای عمیق‌تر و نزدیک‌تر برای خوانندگان فارسی‌زبان فراهم کند.

خوشحالم که اعلام کنم مجله‌ی عکاسی ببین را اکنون به زبان فارسی منتشر می‌کنیم. در این مجله، ضمن پرداختن به عکاسی معاصر و معرفی عکاسان، تلاش می‌کنیم با رویکردی میان‌رشته‌ای پلی میان عکاسی و سایر حوزه‌های فکری و هنری نیز ایجاد کنیم.
