Our golden lion tamarin, who was born and raised at the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo, finally boarded a flight last week to Frankfurt, where she will meet her carefully selected mate

on the IUCN Red List—a remarkable conservation success. This achievement is the result of collaborative efforts by zoos, including the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo, through coordinated breeding programs and the reintroduction of zoo-born animals into their native habitat in Brazil.
