At 10 pm - Keep the politics aside - this movement is about our kids. As a father of two boys, I cannot imagine what these boys and girls have just been through. And no, cops being attacked is utterly unacceptable. Today, I met the CJP's two spokespersons, a 13 year old girl, a politician, a 22 and 26 year old among others. All they seek is a future. I believe that is their right. Pls don't fill the timeline of this tweet with hate.
Just for a second entertain the possibility, that this generation is able to visualise a country…that my dumbass generation and the one above us forgot. We idealistically thought of it, and forgot it quick. Distracted by life and prosperity. Maybe it’s because they’ve grown up documenting and broadcasting their entire life. So they’ve had a good look at themselves during formative years. Assessed their values, albeit to showcase them. Which we weren’t able to do. So they are possibly more sure of themselves at this age, which seems completely alien to us. It’s possible.
The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India invites reputed Indian and international firms to participate in the RFQ for Empanelment of Strategy & Design Consultants for developing tourist destinations to global standards.

Dear Prime Minister @narendramodi ,
After your advise to stop using cars, Today I decided to walk to my office and sharing some realities with you.
Citizens are not addicted to cars. Most people would happily avoid taking their cars out if cities simply offered three things properly; safe footpaths, protected cycling tracks, and dependable Metro connectivity.
Give us these three basics and I can confidently say private car usage will reduce massively on its own.
But today, the reality is different. Cities like Pune, where public transport demand is exploding, still struggle with incomplete and delayed infrastructure, while Metro projects are inaugurated in places where the urgency and density are comparatively lower like Bhopal or Nagpur for political advantage. Footpaths are encroached upon or broken by your own goons or electric dept. Cycling tracks exist mostly for presentations, events, and photo opportunities instead of daily commuting.
Then citizens are lectured about reducing car usage.
Sir, roads in India are still unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists. Asking people to give up cars without first guaranteeing safety is unfair. A middle class citizen choosing a car today is not choosing luxury; he is choosing survival and, predictability.
If you truly want us to adopt public transport and sustainable mobility, then please first make walking and cycling safe, and then focus on public transport reliable enough that citizens choose it willingly rather than being morally pressured into it.
My appeal to PM Modi-
In order to save petrol & diesel, please make it mandatory for bureaucrats, MLAs & MPs to use public buses and metro instead of large convoys.
It will also be a good opportunity for them to experience world-class infrastructure they are building for us.
What began as a small sustainability experiment is now one of our fastest-growing product lines.
Over the past few months, we’ve seen a loyal fanbase grow around our leaf plates on @bigbasket_com
When we realised most disposable plates in the market were either plastic-coated or prone to fungus, we could either sell what’s common or create something better.
So we joined hands with the tribal communities of Odisha to source Siali leaves... strong, compostable & grown in abundance. Then ran some R&D to make them even tougher & more antibacterial.
With just 5 SKUs, these leaf plates now account for over 25% of our sales in the segment.
More than that, it means less plastic in landfills, more dignity in rural livelihoods & higher food safety on our table.
This is how much of innovation really happens. You look at the standard & think… are we sure we can't do this better? 💡

A call of blast near Raddison, Mahipalpur was received and staff was rushed to the spot. The caller was contacted and it was informed that while the caller was on way to Gurugram, a loud noise was heard.
On the spot, no incident site was found. During local enquiry, a guard informed that the rear tyre of a DTC bus going towards Dhaula Kuan had burst and so the sound had come.
The situation is normal and there is nothing to worry about.

Winters in Delhi are entirely wasted. Its horrible air makes a beautiful season lose its essence. Otherwise, it would be a time for runs, sipping tea in the balcony, Sunday morning picnics, and rooftop gatherings.
In view of the increasing air pollution in Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has decided to change the working hours of the offices of the Delhi Government and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi from 15 November 2025 to 15 February 2026.
The new timings of Delhi Government offices will be from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, and Delhi Municipal Corporation offices will be from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Currently, Delhi government offices operate from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Municipal Corporation of Delhi offices operate from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This mere 30-minute difference in opening hours results in heavy traffic and congestion both in the morning and the evening, further exacerbating air pollution.
This should not be forgiven
People of this village waited years for Road to be laid in there area
But, Some entitled people drove their big cars over the freshly laid road and destroyed and and made is un-usable
There vehicles numbers are clearly visible in the video
I hope needful action is taken and the cost of road is taken from them and also penalty.
Not sure the incident of the video .. please update in replies if you are aware of it is recent or old incident.
Sadly the first rule of Personal Finance should be to prevent Indian parents from spending their entire live savings on their children's wedding.
If you have the money it's fine but im literally seeing people selling off their land, investments, FDs and what not to feed random people for 2 nights. Why?

UTTER IDIOCY: a self styled Hindu vigilante group storms a KFC outlet in Ghaziabad and forces it to shut down, saying can’t sell meat during the month of Sawan. Please don’t eat chicken, but why stop others? And why are cops missing in action yet again ? JIYO AUR JEENE DO for god sake! (By the way, what about the ‘mutton party’ of a BJP ally in Bihar?)
JUST IN | In view of an order by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security on enhanced measures at airports, passengers across India are advised to arrive at their respective airports at least three hours prior to scheduled departure to ensure smooth check-in and boarding. Check-in closes 75 mins before departure: Air India. @jagritichandra reports.
Before certain section of society jumps in to use this moment to target Muslims and spew hate: remember who stood at that press briefing today.
Col Sofiya Qureshi of the Indian Army. Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Air Force. Shoulder to shoulder, serving the same flag.
This is India. Always has been.
Don’t let them twist it. Don’t let hate speak louder than unity and peace.

A few stories of humanity and reality ♥️ please go through all of them.
To those spewing poison, you're nothing more than malleable hate machines at this point. That's your existence.
Thank you @TheQuint for covering this.

If a Hindu can find in the vestiges of history a perceived hurt against an abstract ancestor, and weaponise it to seek revenge in the present, then millions of lower castes can rise against the upper castes for centuries of oppression and ostracism.
My piece in Times of India

This 500-year-old portrait may seem ordinary, but it's one of the most mysterious in history.
There's so much detail that you can read every musical note on this small page.
But look closer — an unsettling secret is hiding in plain sight... 🧵
