#cyclovia is happening today! You can come support @AZLuminaria and their mission of bringing equitable nonprofit journalism to all Arizonans by buying some ice cream from this adorable ice cream truck.
Tomorrow: @Tucson_DTM and @LSATucson will transform the block of 6th Ave. between Armory Park and @ChildMuseumTuc into a canvas for large street murals accompanied by planters and flex posts to calm traffic, improve connectivity, and enhance safety and comfort for everyone.
There are still a bunch of folks in bike culture who fundamentally think e-bikes are cheating. They mistakenly view e-bikes as replacing bicycle trips rather than car trips. They constantly wonder why folks just won't ride regular bikes. It's tiring how they still don't get it.
Today’s #topdowntuesday is of the new bike and pedestrian bridge that was installed over Stone Avenue near downtown. The bridge is part of the controversial Downtown Links project. Eventually it will connect to new bike paths, which are part of the project. #everystreettucson
Crossed the 50 percent mark in my #EveryStreetTucson project. Really looking forward to nicer weather to get out for longer days and pick up the progress. https://t.co/EvkjHQfCVD
Ugh, depressing stat: "In 2014, about 900,000 people rode their bikes to work but in 2020, just over 783,000 did – about 0.5% of all workers."
Bikers not at fault. It's scary out there. We need to do way better, starting yesterday, for our bicyclists.

I got the chance to meet some of the @UACycling team members who won the @usacycling 2021 - 2022 Collegiate Omnium in May. Great to finally congratulate them in person! A wonderful group of student athletes from the @UAZCampusRec club sports program. #BearDown
