From now on, I'm referring to him as "Rob Ford's brother". All he does is ride on his coat tails, even though he constantly threw Rob under the bus and apparently stole his wife's and children's inheritance when he died.
@BudrinoPolitics@fobwithabob Lol, most people can barely afford to live here. They're month-to-month with no savings. It's a big city with all sorts of people. Your generalizations are toxic, but it doesn't matter. Small-thinking from small towns. But I know that not everyone in small towns is like that.
@fobwithabob@BudrinoPolitics My dad lives in Prince Edward County and their favourite pastime is just dunking on Toronto and the people who live here. It's fucking weird. They never visit Toronto and no nothing about it but love shitting all over us. Honestly, I'm fully in favour of succession from Ontario.
@fobwithabob@BudrinoPolitics City life isn't for everyone, but it suits a lot of people just well. It's weird that people like to accuse city-folk of snobbery, especially Torontonians, but the snobbery and hostility is mostly outside of the city.
@EnkiSoreAss @BudrinoPolitics No one in Toronto says that. I've lived here all my life. It's a city. I love the city life. I like nature too, so I leave the city sometimes for a visit. Nobody in Toronto thinks that there is a lot of nature in the city, but it's not devoid. The ravines are nice.
@HabDomination@JeromeLandry Well, that's great news for the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames. There's absolutely no chance of a referendum in that province.
@AnotherStam@LetErBuckCanuck@nenshi It isn't about the petition. It's about the changes that the government improperly allowed the petition to proceed without First Nations consultations. The rules the government overturned had a higher bar, but if followed, the petition could have succeeded.
@CBry14772@nenshi It isn't about the petition. It's about the process by which the government allowed the petition to proceed. The government improperly and illegally removed the requirement to consult. That violates treaties.
@AnotherStam@LetErBuckCanuck@nenshi It really won't be. The law - the intent and the letter - is pretty clear on the matter. Not you can get your referendum if you do it properly. Take your time and consult properly. I don't understand the rush because the separatists would lose so badly now anyway.
@WexitPepe@nenshi You're crying like a major-leaguer. All the organizers had to do was follow the law, but they fucked around and didn't, and now they are finding out. Alberta separatism is a stupid pipe-dream, but you can pursue it if you want. Just follow the goddamn law, and this won't happen.
@JuleKreyling@mmpadellan@SenFettermanPA They are rare and they are inherently corrupt. That is why an established process for multiple companies to bid on government contracts is the norm. It's about getting the best value for the taxpayers' money.
@Boilers32@micah_erfan You really come across as supporting molestation. Here's a pretty obvious clue for MAGA. Child molestation is always wrong, no matter what your opinion is on anything else. It's extremely clear. There is no ambiguity - absolutely none.
@MikeBales@JenetteLouise BuT wE'Re nOt ThE eNeMy! You're a fucking clown. Stop pretending to be moderate and reasonable. Anyone who is not actively supporting the removal of Trump and his imprisonment is a clown. The guy raped children. What could possibly be more disgusting?
