Skills and Qualifications are one of the most important things about a job role.
That’s why today we’re going to share some of the skills and qualifications you need to become a bid writer (and some of them you may already have!)
On a typical day, their tasks could include:
👉 Planning a bid timeline
👉 Researching a client and their likely competition
👉 Meeting with relevant subject matter experts
👉 Writing responses to tender questions
What is a bid writer?
A bid writer is a person who helps companies write tender responses mainly for public sector contracts, but there could also be the occasional private sector contract!
In the UK, you can:
Call the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700 or fill out an online form
Contact the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority to report concerns about the mistreatment of workers on 0800 432 0804, or at [email protected]#ModernSlavery#Awareness
Each day you could walk past multiple people who are in slavery and not even realise it.
They might appear to be going about their normal lives so you wouldn’t even give them a second thought.
If you suspect that someone is in slavery – don’t confront them or cause a scene!
This could lead to increased harm for them, instead, you should inform the relevant authorities.
