I disagree. The real world gives feedback everyday to people in the form of promotions, tickets, judicial decisions, etc...Learn from it by studying what you did wrong, or just keep doing it wrong over again. W/o feedback we have no direction & are an unruly, unguided society.

@alicekeeler As the adult that’s done the hard work to be the classroom teacher, I’ve earned the “right” to give grades for assignments. It’s only a way of feedback, that’s all. Stop making our jobs sound so prosecutorial... it’s irresponsible & unrealistic.
