Attended the Cabinet meeting held today at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Yumnam Khemchand Ji, along with Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Nemcha Kipgen Ji, Cabinet colleagues, Chief Secretary Shri Rajeev Singh Thakur Ji and senior officials.

We deliberated on key matters of governance and departmental priorities, guided by our collective responsibility to ensure responsive administration and serve the larger interests of the people of Manipur.

During the Obituary Reference in the Manipur Legislative Assembly today, I paid my solemn respects to the departed former Members of the House and remembered their service and contributions to the people and the State.

I respectfully remembered Shri Longjam Ningthemjao, Shri K. Envey, Dr. Md. Maniruddin Sheikh and Shri A. S. Arthur.

May their souls rest in eternal peace, and may their bereaved families find strength and solace in this hour of grief. 🙏

The celebration beautifully brings together Bhakti, tradition and Manipur’s rich cultural heritage through Gita Sloka recitation, Pung Cholom, Thang-Ta, Dahi-Handi, Bhajan Sandhya and devotional performances, culminating in the Maha Aarti at midnight.

Honoured to join Hon’ble Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan Ji at the historic INA Memorial Complex, Moirang, Bishnupur district, and pay homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the brave soldiers of the Azad Hind Fauj.

Moirang holds a sacred place in India’s freedom struggle, where the Tricolour of the INA was unfurled on Indian soil on April 14, 1944. We remember with deep respect the courage, sacrifice and indomitable spirit of all those who fought for India’s independence.

Attended the first State-Level Meeting of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, 2026, held today at the Cabinet Hall under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri @YKhemchandSingh Ji.

The meeting, attended by the Chief Secretary, Commissioners and Heads of Departments, set the direction for a coordinated State-wide effort to translate the spirit of Seva into action and commitment into measurable outcomes.

Inspired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji’s 25-year journey of dedicated public service, the Abhiyan will carry forward the ideals of Seva, Sushasan and Antyodaya—ensuring that governance reaches the last person with purpose, dignity and results.
