I think the KSC ruling said that civil officers are typically appointed not elected which, it seems to me, would mean the Judge in question is not a civil officer and thus not subject to the restrictions you referenced. Of course, I know nothing 😊

@TheAmishDude @mehdirhasan Don’t really get your point. It’s a reasonable position to say that Political leaders should avoid mocking other peoples religion. Okay to criticize them and then explain why they’re wrong, but mocking them is different and will likely only lead to trouble.
