So many Big East dudes in this NBA finals matchup. The three Nova Knicks plus Champagnie from St. John’s, Castle from UConn, and Kolek from Marquette. And in many ways Rutgers remains spiritually Big East so we’ll count Harper too.
BREAKING: Former Penn point guard Dylan Williams is transferring to Northwestern, he confirmed to me.
The former JUCO product graduated from Penn two weeks ago and is now headed to the Big Ten with one year left of eligibility.
With the reported news that Mike Gansey is becoming 76ers' president of basketball operations, I asked @LaSalle_MBB coach Darris Nichols about Gansey:

NEWS: Weber State transfer Edwin Suarez Jr. is transferring to Temple, his agent Lenny Minaya of @Fdmathletics_ told @LeagueRDY.
The 6-foot-6 forward out of San Juan, Puerto Rico spent one season at Weber State and averaged 9.2PPG, 6.0RPG, 1.2APG and 1.3SPG this season.
Mike is one of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years. I can’t thank him enough for allowing me to tell some stories in the greatest venue the sport will ever know.
