Our first morning at @SPIEL_Messe - the journey back to the car has been traumatic but overall a successful morning!

[TommyD @Tommy__Drummond]

Hi @SPIEL_Messe Any reason the buses are not running back to P2 during the day this year? Makes returning games hard. Not going to want to buy so much if I can't get back to the car.

[Ben Howard @BigBenGames]

@eric_lang Using the similar logic - should anyone ever be credited for anything? Surely someone else would have thought of that idea eventually?

[Ben Howard @BigBenGames]

@stuffByBez @UKGamesExpo @JohanneBryce It was a very strange experience (although that years Essen was much weirder) - but one that I was so grateful for at the time!

[Ben Howard @BigBenGames]

@UKGamesExpo but now I won't be able to make my joke about 'levelling up" or "going back a level" every time we go between halls 1 and 2! TBF my friends will probably see that as a bonus of the new layout!

[CATAN - Official @settlersofcatan]

Congratulations to the winner of the UK National Championship and CATAN+ Challenge Jess Burns 🥇👑 and the winner of the Cities & Knights tournament Katrina Tripple! 🏆🇬🇧

If you're flying home from #ukge2024, be aware the queue for security starts outside... 🫣

[Ben Howard @BigBenGames]

@beyondcataclysm @UKGamesExpo Thank you!

[Ben Howard @BigBenGames]

Absolutely gutted to be missing #UKGamesExpo2024 ! But I'm so glad I decided to check if my sore throat was #covid - as it turns out it is! This should have been @UKGamesExpo No.9 for me - and had an amazing weekend planned but far more important to rest & keep others safe!

[Ben Howard @BigBenGames]

@UKGamesExpo I'm impressed you can fit the whole of hall 1 & 2 into a couple of boxes!

This would be really useful to have at @UKGamesExpo

@TomTeachesGames what a brilliant costume!

[Ben Howard @BigBenGames]

@UKGamesExpo Was great to say hello to your team today - Essen might be bigger but as an overall event UKGE is so much better.

Essen Day 1 Haul - @Tommy__Drummond & I tried our best to be reserved but failed. Can't wait to get these home to try them. #EssenSpiel2023

[Ben Howard @BigBenGames]

Our first pass through the halls - mainly focused on getting games we think will sellout first. Fortunately there's still plenty of boot space for the rest of the weekend #EssenSpiel2023

[Ben Howard @BigBenGames]

@SPIEL_Messe Thanks that seems to have fixed it

[Ben Howard @BigBenGames]

This feels like the perfect game for @Draughtslondon #EssenSpiel2023
