@virutaveraa@1masparatender I think it’s different because France was always supposed to win. When the huge favorite ends up winning fans expect them not to be as emotional about it. Not saying I agree with it, but can understand why people would react in that way.
@zombiemanjay The way the UFC times its fights is so infuriating sometimes. Like I wish they could have timed it in a way such that Song wins and then fights Umar next. But since he just fought 2 days ago the timing is all fucked up
@tkd_mst@adjoudj59463@travispickler Well yes, that would be a pretty interesting prediction, since general consensus is that he's nowhere near as talented as his brother and has looked fairly sloppy in his UFC fights
@adjoudj59463@travispickler Pure hindsight bias my god. Honestly predicting BSD and Topuria in 2023 is pretty impressive. Lopes also not a bad shout, though he's probably predicted to be a lil higher than what he actually is
@RedHeadS0phia@SNYGiants Why does that matter? Even if he’s in the minority he’s allowed to disagree. Just like how people who were against Biden voiced their opinions during his administration.
@2Realforthis92@dlee4three Plus, I think we should hold Shams to a higher standard than fan accounts on Twitter. This guy is one of, if not the only faces of NBA media and as such should be scrutinized more
@2Realforthis92@dlee4three Besides, I am confused how including something like "standout at Gonzaga" or "dependable player" or "locker room favorite" would be unprofessional or perceived as negative. When someone that was loved dies, we should say positive things about them!
