Elbow up works very well so far! Isn't it? It's simply ridiculous to alienate the major customer of Canadian goods just for political purposes. They play the victim, and in turn, they just use the same political rhetoric that they blame the other guy for using. Children at play. Instead, perhaps they should focus on inter-provincial barriers and how to be strategic for the future, but that would require real work.

Simple. This is an Assault. How can 3- 4 adult womens can claim to be actually physically threatened by a single elderly man walking away? Having a verbal argument is not physical assault. Was he threatening them for their life? If every verbal argument ends up in physical self-defence... the pepper spray industry will be booming.

If you need to shoot someone in the leg, it's because you don't need to shoot at all. Unfortunately, a knife at close range is an immediate, deadly threat that needs to be addressed at some point if the assailant keeps coming at you like she were. I'm just surprised by how many rounds were used to stop the behavior but that is an other story.

Both are wrong, with a bad and unnecessary outcome for a parking spot... Why go out of your car with a gun if you're scared? Is that self-defense, or self-putting yourself in a situation with no return point? Why walk up to someone armed and pointing a gun at you for a parking spot? 100% avoidable situation for both.

its clear that most law enforcement would have self defense shot in that situation unless they had been able to identify the suspect way before. No one would expect a civilian walking in the line of fire like that and end up facing the wounded PO without the risk of getting hurt one way or the other.

@mattil10 @AngelNoAngel_x If you need to shoot in a leg, it's a situation that requires no shooting at all. ''Could'' they have used other, less deadly tools like a taser, maybe, maybe not? A knife at close range is an imminent deadly threat, and proper responses are limited.
