This will be a great way for us to work with partnered organisations to offer volunteer and personal development opportunities. This gives us the chance to create usable space from land that has been 'forgotten'.

We want to encourage residents to use the green space around their houses, because a well cared for green space is less likely to be fly tipped on. This is an opportunity to create positive stories about our home & bring residents together!

We will be creating a regular community event in Brookside, where people will be able to bring broken items & they can get fixed. This will also be an opportunity for local people to volunteer their skills, knowledge and time to help others!

Big Van Solutions is a great way to divert waste from going into landfill. It is a low cost way to remove bulky items. This is a great way to reduce fly tipping on the estate & will be an accessible service for people with limited mobility.

Tomorrow at the Sambrook Centre we have our annual Christmas in Stirchley Market, we will have special apperances from Santa Claus himself, the nativity animals, exotic zoo and as always we will have festive refreshments and sweets and treats.

Next year you will be able to exchange your plastic bottles and cans for a voucher(to be confirmed) We hope this will reduce the amount of litter on the estate, it also saves recycling from going into landfill.

You will be able to sign up for The Brookside Rubbish Diet next year. This has been made to get people to try and recycle more and make more space in their red bin.
This summer, the #LetsGetTelfordActive campaign has swept across Telford and Wrekin’s parks, village halls, community centres and sporting facilities. Over 6000 people took part!

The children at Arleston Community Center had a great time tonight, making festive paper plates, attempting to wrapping parcels in pairs by using one hand and playing parachute games. Tea this evening was chicken nuggets and chips :)
Thank you Wayne who was in Brookside today giving people FREE hair cuts. It was such a nice way to give back to the community and everyone appreciates it!
