This tweet should be shocking but it’s not because we live under a Tory government where the rich get richer and the hard working suffer. What is shocking is the complete lack of empathy in the replies to this. Where did our compassion go? This country is broken. Shameful 🤬
Yesterday, one of our students nearly fainted at school because she hadn’t eaten. We gave her two apples. She ate one, and put one in her bag for her younger sibling. Talking about cost of living isn’t enough. Our children are starving.
@HannahAlOthman As a 5’4 GD I can promise you that height has no effect on my absolute love for this sport and the joy that it brings to my mum (71) who still plays and all my friends. Netball doesn’t need to get in the bin, you do! Celebrate womens sport instead of trashing it. DO BETTER!
Don’t know how anyone can’t love @serenawilliams! To play like that after so long is just incredible! Heart of a lion 🦁 ❤️. The GOAT 🐐 #legend#Wimbledon
If the Prime Minister didn't know a birthday party was violating his own fucking lockdown rules maybe it's not a great idea to have him in charge of a country during a fucking war
“This is from someone that voted for you. What a disappointment you are.”
Tonight on Question Time, this #bbcqt audience member says the Government “know the cost of everything and the value of nothing”. Watch on @BBCOne after the news, or live via the iPlayer.
I’m finding it hard to stomach Dominic Raab defending @BorisJohnson & Downing St as a “cockpit for people working phenomenally hard under phenomenal strain.”
Oh really? Try 13 hour shifts in full PPE. Try iPad farewells. Try terror & grief & trauma & horror.
You have NO idea.
Imagine that you couldn’t attend the funeral of someone you loved and then you see the Deputy Prime Minister defending Downing Street drinks because *they’d* had a gruelling day?!
To those of you who don’t have to imagine I am truly sorry. The PM is a disgrace.
