@jryoung234@janekleeb You’re right the child tax credit was a credit. A whopping $150 per person per child. Good on you. With that said every other piece of that legislation was direct stimulus. Billions in more money printed causing inflation that easily wiped out your measily little tax credit.
There’s a difference between actually cutting taxes and stimulus. The ARP was a stimulus plan where the Fed printed more money and gave direct payments. Printing more money money resulted in the steep climb in inflation that we saw during the Biden Administration. As far as Obama and his payroll tax cut , it was a temporary measure following the financial collapse of 2008. It’s funny that the idea of cutting taxes only stimulates the economy when desperate measures need to be taken to avoid total collapse.
@jryoung234@janekleeb While true it was an override of Governor Ricketts veto. Not all Republicans are created the same. But go ahead and name one tax that a Democrat has cut in the last 50 years. Go ahead I will wait
I used to be a member of the honor guard in the Air Force. We were used for all sorts of ceremonial affairs including parades, grand opening events etc. America is celebrating its 250th anniversary and this event is part of the celebration. Your comments go to prove my earlier point on another one of your posts. The only platform the Democrats have is to hate Trump and in this case America. You have zero viable ideas to move this country forward.
He hasn’t cancelled the projects he simply ended government subsidies. It’s because they are inefficient and wind and solar by themselves are not the answer. You literally just showed your lack of understanding of the problem. It will take all sources moving forward. We are producing more oil than at anytime in our history. We now have access to Venezuelan oil. It will take more nuclear energy to power the future also and he is moving those policies forward
@BoydCro00242283@Mappy6984 Sadly that will not be the case. Every little challenge that arises in these kids lives their parents bail them out. It's so bad now that the corporate world even caters to this.
@ScoringGuyGuy@2601forestave@BrettSBaker The only thing that matters is revenue for the conference period. 61,000 in attendance over the 4 days. Can’t help it if your west coast fans don’t travel and you could only put 3000 in attendance for the championship. 90% of which were local fans
@Zigmanfreud Again it says more about the West Coast teams and their fan bases. Not willing to travel is not an Omaha problem. That’s a UCLA Oregon problem
