Getting to know the new guys a little better before camp starts. Also catching up with the others as we come back...though there is one face I don't see.
@KovaLewdko if you see this, we need you brah. You are a ride or die to me, but you are the heart and soul of this team. π
And finally, the biggest part of the O-Line will remain a Dragon as Darren Hibbard (G, Hippopotamus - @BigDHibbard) signs a 7-year deal worth $67.5M, making him the highest paid offensive linefur in league history. We're excited to have Darren back in Grand Rapids!
Okay, waiting for all the offers to come in. As a team captain, I've been let in on some of the guys and girls we're going after on the market.
If they all sign, it's gonna be LIT in the GRD... π₯
"So who are you rooting for in the FBA Playoffs since your Spectrums didn't get in?"
To be honest, I like the @HNTMayors. They've got a solid squad, I really like Fash and Snyman in the back, and my good friend @RhinoBaller55 is gonna lock it down. Put me down for the Mayors.
Just got off a voice conference w/Mara and my agent. I know free agency starts tomorrow but they're confident they can settle on a deal that would make me the highest paid OL in the league. Can't share too many details yet but I'm hopping the first flight I can get back to GR!
@LilBearBaylor Yeah, what is this brah? Haven't been able to play myself so I've been following the league more - this is nuts! I'm gonna have to invest more time in my FBA League Pass but as long as my @SASpectrums keep winning, it's all good.
I'm getting all kinds of action on my feed on Renegotiations - both Scoonie AND DQ are on the block? I'll have to look into the cap situation but to try and get one of them while leaving enough room to resign Hughes next year would be a tough undertaking.
So, uh. . .I just got back from a much needed vacation and, uh. . .took some revealing pics down on the beach. I'd show em but I dunno if this is the right place...
But I wanna make one thing clear: I want to remain in Grand Rapids for the rest of my career. Love the city, love the whole area - West Michigan has that SoCal vibe without all the stuff people hate about it.
And a lot more snow. But it's all good.
