It's been a few years since we've tweeted about ELITE on ball defenders..

Armani Fowlkes from Blake might be the best on ball defender in the DMV.

D-2's should be on him.

Currently has 4 steals at halftime at Gov Challenge, led the @CapitolHoopsSL in steals this past summer (56 teams) including a triple double with steals and I've been told he currently leads Montgomery County in steals. Supreme Ball pressure every possession.

High IQ player who gives 💯 on every play. Gutty competitor.

@Nell_BTP You tell them to hit somebody, then wrap them up and bring them down. You tell them to know where #11 is at all times. Dontheir jobs!!

December 1 is tomorrow? What happened to 2023? Guess I better start working on my New Year’s Resolutions. @3YearLetterman @Jomboy_

[Kathy Boehlert @BigGameBook]

@grantpaulsen He has played well and improved despite playing behind a subpar O-line earlier in the season. Let’s fix the defense - staring with the DC.

[Kathy Boehlert @BigGameBook]

Seriously? Who wasn’t expecting that from our Del Rio defense?

[JP Finlay @JPFinlayNBCS]

Defensively that last series has to be embarrassing. It was never a question

[Kathy Boehlert @BigGameBook]

@kevinsheehanDC Tough defensive showing. St Juste cost us two series.

[Kathy Boehlert @BigGameBook]

@Commanders Fire Del Rio. Cut St. Juste

Per sources Baba Oladotun has registered at Blake HS and will begin classes this week.

Big time transfer shakes up MoCo basketball big time. Blake plays in the toughest region (3A West, region 2) in MoCo that boasts arguably the 3 top teams in the county:
Blake, Sherwood, Wootton
