honestly a profound sentiment and something that when i realized it, was really life changing for me. living to prove people wrong is no way to live. prove yourself right. believe that you have everything it takes and then go prove it. haters’ opinions are none of your business
saying this on espn during the nba playoffs is honestly just an enormous deal, and deserves all the credit in the world. not hyperbole to say it could be life saving for someone

As someone who grew up a die hard #GoRhody fan, I'll never forget the 1st time I met Thorr at the athletics facility as a walk-on (albeit nobody) student-athlete, & how kind and approachable he was. A guy who genuinely cared about students - not just winning & schmoozing donors.
Just spoke to an emotional @thorrbjorn (battling laryngitis). Bjorn shared the emotions of leaving Rhody after 18 and a half years for UMass.
"We've cried a lot. We talked to our football program today and got so choked up. I love this place and what that means, I love the people, it's a special place...I keep thinking and my wife keeps saying to me, 18 and a half years is a long time, we've been very lucky."
