Vanillaware founder George Kamitani - wants to put their other games on PC (Unicorn Overlord, 13 Sentinels, Dragon's Crown, etc.) but says it's up to the publisher to finance the ports
@csaurageul@Krekkov Bro don't be so hard on yourself. I mean most artists are. You won't stagnate because you're aware of that potential problem. As long as you love what you do, take time to train and take time to just enjoy creating, you'll keep growing. I love your work and am inspired by you.
This man right here livin the dream. Go support him and the artists he's given a platform to. His business is important in this currently censorious puritanical world.
Hi! My name is Deaubrey, and I’m the founder of Waifu Loot.
Back in 2023, I started a tiny Etsy shop selling stickers. After meeting some really talented artists, I realized there was a huge problem: most shops wouldn’t allow NSFW content, and even fewer printing companies were willing to print it.
So I started helping my friends print and sell their artwork instead. Huge shoutout to @Grimphantom_Inc for being one of the very first to trust me.
Things blew up way faster than I expected. At one point, I was a one-man operation fulfilling hundreds of orders every month for 50+ artists… all with a Cricut in my apartment. It was chaos LOL.
So in 2024, I took the biggest gamble of my life and spent basically every dollar I had on a $30,000 commercial sticker printer. It was terrifying, but it completely changed everything. Suddenly we could print 90+ stickers a minute, support way more artists, and launch new product lines.
At our peak, we had over 170 partners.
But growth came with problems too. My tiny one bedroom apartment turned into a full-blown print shop, so I had to upgrade into a larger workspace and hire staff. Between equipment, moving costs, payroll, and leasing, expenses exploded overnight.
Then we got hit with a DMCA wave at the absolute worst time possible. Losing fanart content dropped our revenue by over 60%, and I ended up taking out loans just to keep the company alive. Honestly, I was overwhelmed and made a lot of rushed decisions during that period. I know I damaged some relationships along the way, and for that, I sincerely apologize.
Eventually, I stepped back from leadership and let someone with more business experience take over while I focused on the production side of the company.
Since then, we’ve grown into a small team of 5 people. Every design is still manually edited and formatted by hand. I personally handle printing, packaging, shipping, and customer support for our partners. No AI automation. No giant corporate system. Just real people putting in real work because we genuinely care about artists and the community we’ve built.
Now I’m stepping back into a leadership role, but this time I want to do things differently.
I want Waifu Loot to be more community-focused. A safe space for artists, degenerates, collectors, and Waifu lovers alike LOL
I’m still learning every single day, and honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing. But I care deeply about this community, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us through all the highs and lows.
We’ve got some big plans ahead, and I hope you’ll stick around for the ride ❤️

@WaifuLoot I appreciate what you do and wanted to start a similar business for stickers, prints and tshirts and give artists a place to sell their stuff and not get snubbed because they created adult oriented art. Keep it up.
I work full time during the regular week. Its gotten stressful to a point where I have no energy to direct to art for myself right now. Not sure how to handle this. Gotta pay bills but I want to create for myself as well. I get bored of life real quick if its just work work work.
Apparently when Xbox says "console exclusive" they mean the only console you can play on is Xbox. PC is still being considered part of the ecosystem. This makes me feel a bit better. I'm gonna be cautiously optimistic about E-Day now and hope for the best.
This is coming from a day 1 hardcore Gears fan. I preordered for the OG E-Day, November 11th, 2006. Ended up going to Target and buying a 2nd copy on launch day because Lamestop's shipment got delayed. I've loved this game for a long time. But after 4, 5 and the remake. Too late
@XBOX - Lemme get this right. You've spent the last decade shittin out garbage sequels and 2 technically abysmal remakes out on PC and Playstation...and you expect me to now pay over $700 for your "exclusive" garbage console + $80 game and gamepass to play online? No deal.
I see & appreciate the hard work the people @CoalitionGears are putting into this game. It looks great. @Xbox has damaged this brand and burned so much good will in the last 10 years that I simply cannot justify giving them my money.
It's been some time since I posted something here. I got busy posting on my main account.
Here is something fresh, a digital painting that I finished yesterday, inspired by a photo of Alexa Pearl (google her if you dare)
@MikeBloomberg Your brain has atrophied with age obviously. Go find a retirement home to rot away in. Keep your dick out of peoples lives. Mind your business. Incase you weren't sure what that means, what someone else does with their free will that doesn't effect you is NOT your business.
too complicated pattern / or a motif that does not require perspective, there is no additional cost to add. When applying for a commission, i recommended to apply that part than just request character!
