My heart is deeply saddened by the loss of one of our nation’s heroes, Charlie Kirk.

I had the privilege of sharing a platform with Charlie at a men’s event. I found him to be a kind and tender man, yet wise and bold in his stand against evil.

Please, everyone pray for his wife Erika, their children, and for the Turning Point USA organization.

I believe with all my heart Charlie has heard the words from Jesus himself: “Well done.”

May his life and his family’s sacrifice embolden the rest of us not to shrink back from speaking the truth of God’s Word.

This is an incredible loss. Charlie was such a courageous young man.
He was not only a bold and unwavering voice for biblical truth in our culture, but also a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, a husband, and a family man. He will be deeply missed.

As shocking as this news is, we can take comfort in knowing that Charlie is now in Heaven.

The moment he took his last breath here on earth, he took his first breath in the presence of the Lord. That is the hope we hold on to as believers—eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
