I had the pleasure of coaching at Michigan when Jake Butt was a great player. We were playing Florida State in the Orange Bowl, this was the beginning of great players opting out of bowl games to get ready for the draft. Jake would never opt out. He put it on the line like he always did. He got hurt on a catch and run to the goal line, the very same knee he hurt the season before. It cost him his draft status and ultimately a longer career. Never question Jake’s love for Michigan Football. EVER.

@isaiahhole Why does it seem like everyone has completly given up on this team? I still think they have a lot to play for and they showed some significant improvement last week. Of course they have to clean some thing up. But why does it seem like I’m the only fan still very optimistic ?
