Alucard inherited Dracula’s immense power, but never fully explored the depths of magic his father mastered. Imagine how terrifying he would be if he combined his combat skills with Dracula’s knowledge of dark magic. 🔥
Yaxel Lendeborg on what he and Luka Doncic were going back and forth about:
“I was telling him he sucks. He can’t score on me. You talking, you can’t score on me. I said it the whole game. I said a couple cuss words obviously, you know, that’s why I got the technical and all that. But I was letting him know because he was laughing and talking all this because of that one foul call, and his only bucket was a banker from half court. Like, I know that it’s a team sport. He had 28 on us as a team. Me, I took my matchup personally. Tried not to get caught on the fouls. Tried my best. I was thinking about playing him with my hands behind my back to see if that worked. Probably would have still got a foul call. But, you know, interesting.”
I GOT APPROVED FOR UNEMPLOYMENT AFTER A LAYOFF.
The state paid me $390 a week for four months while I searched for work. I found another job and reported it immediately, exactly as required.
Eight months later, I received a letter saying my former employer had challenged the claim, arguing I was fired for cause instead of laid off. The review board sided with them on a technicality. No hearing. No opportunity to defend myself in person.
Now the state says I was overpaid $6,240. Pay it back within 30 days or face wage garnishment.
I called and asked how an approved benefit could suddenly become a debt months after the money was spent.
The representative explained that the state had a year to review the claim. Apparently, the money I was told I qualified for was never truly mine to keep until that window closed.
I spent it on rent, groceries, gas, and the basic expenses of surviving unemployment. I followed the rules, reported my new job, and moved on.
Now I’m being told to repay thousands of dollars I no longer have, with my paycheck potentially on the line.
IMAGINE BEING APPROVED FOR HELP WHEN YOU’RE OUT OF WORK, USING IT TO SURVIVE, AND THEN GETTING A BILL MONTHS LATER BECAUSE THE STATE DECIDED IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN A MISTAKE.
