So about that 25M number that Schumer likes to quote, and MAGA is saying means there's 25M illegals.

Not quite.

Being me, and knowing that Schumer knows nothing, so I have to, I dug into this.

He's quoting a Cato (pro immigrant libertarian nutjobs think tank) study that asked people if they could find their birth certificate in 24 hours.

Which is a BS question: No, I would have to go to the Vital Statistics website for Ventura County and order one, and it would take > 24 hours.

Meanwhile, as part of the SAVE act, DHS is going to stand up a webservice to validate citizenship in 30 seconds. It's already built, to validate whether people are citizens for the various federally funded services. Probably why the D's are so pissed about DOGE.

They just need the extra funds for hosting it and having people walk through all the country electoral IT folks in how to use it.

So I wouldn't need to get my birth certificate anyways.

Plus there's 2 parts to voting, registering, which you do months ahead of time, and voting, which just needs a regular ID to prove who you are. So even the old way would be fine.

In conclusion:

1. Schumer is a moron/liar/idiot.

2. There aren't necessarily 25 million illegals. Might be more, might be less.

3. Pass the SAVE Act. When I nerded out on election fraud after Bush v. Gore, the classic way to cheat in elections was to drive a busload of folks with fake registrations around to different polling places. With Mail In Ballots, you don't need to rent a bus. The dead shouldn't be voting. Let them rest, Chicago.
